i thought about this question and here's what i came up with.
innocence is lost when experience is gained. so to regain it, you have to get rid of experience. the problem is that in reality, you can't. once you experience something, it's going to stay there with you.
i think what you should ask yourself is whether the experience is worth the loss of innocence. with experience comes knowledge. you now know something you didn't know before. is that worth it? would you rather know or not know? and if you could, would you discard experience to regain innocence?

True... the more you learn, the more you get tainted - but the more you get good at life.
